This is 3 1/2 year old Texas Longhorn cow Premier Preference. She is very smart, affectionate, gentle and loves to petted and hugged.
She has royal breeding and is a daughter of JP Rio Grande and Somethingroyal. In this photo she has graciously consented to help her owner learn how to rope, even though she has only been saddled less than 6 times previously she doesn't mind the whizzing of the rope over her head.
She has already produced a sweet heifer calf and is bred back for a 2011 baby. She is a wonderful example of the great breed of cattle, The Texas Longhorn.
