Tiger Swallow Tail Butterfly

Here’s a picture I took of a beautiful yellow Tiger Swallowtail butterfly. It posed for me while gathering nectar from our cherry blossom tree alongside the driveway.

I took this picture in the early afternoon on a gorgeous day in March when the sun was shining and the weather was nice.

Here in Bogart, GA all the spring blossoms were at their finest so I decided to go outside and try to get some pictures while they looked so pretty.

I love the weather in early spring- breezy and cool, not too cold and not too hot. I took many pictures that day, just walking around with my camera and capturing whatever was blooming.

My kitty, Pumkin kept me company. He loves to be outside playing as he is hardly more than a kitten. He’s always looking for an adventure, and especially loves to explore outside when all the bugs and flowers appear.
