United States, most being in the Midwest. These unique barns are built in a
circular, octagonal, or polygonal shape. Fantastic round barn pictures show us

I want to share with you.
Round barns had several
advantages for farmers. They were simpler and cheaper to built, with more space
efficiency than a four-sided barn. The silo was often located in the center.
Round barns were never as popular as other barn
types, but their unusual shape makes them stand out. The years from 1880–1920
were the height of round barn construction in America.
Some round barns are being restored and preserved but many
old barns are
deteriorating and falling apart. Round barn pictures help preserve these
interesting buildings for future generations.
