My best confidant

This lake has a particular place in my heart.

I was very little when I discovered it. I was angry because my sisters had stolen my toy and I ran away wanting to be alone. The bushes were scraping my arms and legs. Finally, I stumbled in a meadow. The sight that greeted me stole my breath away. The picturesque landscape and beautiful scenery surrounding the lake made the place seem so mysterious.

Starting with this experience I frequently came near the lake. It was always so peaceful and relaxing. It soon became my secret place where I was hiding from cruel reality.
After some time, during the night when I was stargazing, I discovered a fire that could be seen from a very small island nestled in the middle of the lake.

I was so happy when during the winter the lake froze and I had my unique ice-skating ring so I was able to practice my skating skills. Apparently, no one knew about it.
